Hastelloy C276 tube alloy is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum containing tungsten alloy with low carbon and silicon content. It is regarded as a universal corrosion resistant alloy, mainly resistant to wet chlorine, various oxidation resistance chloride chlorate solutions of sulfuric acid and oxidizing salts. It has good corrosion resistance in both low temperature and high temperature hydrochloric acid environments. For nearly thirty years, it has been widely applied in harsh corrosive environments such as chemical petrochemical, flue gas desulfurization, pulp and paper, and environmental protection industries.

Key Properties:

Mechanical Properties:

Tensile strength: σb≥730Mpa, Elongation: δ≥40%, Hardness: HRB≤100.

Hastelloy C-276 alloy thermoforming is immediately annealed and quenched with water at 1150℃. Cold deformation increases its strength. The formability is similar to common austenitic stainless steel but with greater strength, resulting in higher stress during cold forming and faster work hardening rate. Midway annealing treatment is recommended during extensive cold forming processes.
